Literature Text

Blue on blue.
Our ship caught between horizons.

The surface of the ocean moves and ripples,
     like the skin of a tiger when it stretches;
     leisurely movement revealing profound strength.
Dormant, threatening, beautiful.

Above me, our sails are stretched out
     like arms, catching the wind.
Their gentle curves are our wings,
     arching gracefully,
     greeting the clouds.

The gaff sails aren't quite right, I'm pretty sure. But anyway it's close enough, and I couldn't bother finding a picture of it.
