Sailing Club

Update
Happy easter everyone!
For those of you who are religious, praise God! and have a lovely day. For those who are not, enjoy your day off and eating chocolate :)
Renote - I'm thinking of having something like a member's bio page where we do features/interviews on each member. Tell me if this sounds like a good idea to you

Intro
Welcome to the Sailing Club! This club is for anyone who likes sailing boats and ships. If you love to sail, or you love reading about sailing, or watching movies about sailing - anything to do with sailing - this club is for you.

Wanna join the club?
We'd love to have you! Just send a note to the club saying you'd like to join. If you feel so inclined, send a funny sailing anecdote that I can post up, too.
Note: If you watch the club but don't send a note, I will assume you don't want to join, so please remember to do this.

Submissions
To make a submission, send a note to the club with a link to the art you'd like to submit along with anything about the original you'd like to change (e.g. the description, category etc.)

Stuff

:eyes: Avatar competition! Design an avatar, send it in, and you guys can vote on the best one. (Although the avatar we have now is cool, we really do need a new one cos this is ripped from Leeuwin's page and it probably isn't strictly legal.)

:star: Check out our news and links page!

:star: Got a sailing question? Maybe one of the geniuses here at the sailing club can help you out.

Fair Winds!

A sailing club ah. I raced a 41 footer for 15 years on lake Erie. We were out of Cleveland Ohio. I'll see if I can dig up some old photo and send them over.

Awesome! I assume you want to join then?
I can't post up your photos unless you are a member, but I can favourite them.

Hark! don’t ye hear it roar now?
Lord help ’em, how I pities them
Unhappy folks on shore now!"

how cool! This looks like an interesting place. I'd join, except that I'm so random that I'd forget to participate. But I'd definitely like to watch for some great sailing pictures! Hope that's okay ^^;. Fair winds!
